With more than 15 years of experience in the events industry, Claire Melville is a recognised expert in delivering flawless, high-impact events. Throughout her career, Claire has consistently turned concepts into memorable experiences, always aligning her work with the company’s objectives, goals, and growth.
Although Claire initially stepped into Events to cover a period of sick leave, she quickly discovered that this was the career she was truly meant for. As a self-confessed control enthusiast with an exceptional eye for detail, this revelation came as no surprise. Over the past 14 years, Claire has refined her expertise across a broad spectrum of events, including conferences, awards ceremonies, summits, workshops, and product launches. Additionally, she adapted seamlessly to the rise of webinars and online conferences, a shift accelerated by the Covid-19 pandemic.
Throughout her career, Claire has played a pivotal role in shaping the Scottish Cyber Awards, leading the event for eight consecutive years from its inception, transforming it into one of the nation’s most anticipated industry gatherings. She also managed the National Best Bar None Awards for six years. Claire’s portfolio extends to collaboration with prominent organisations such as the Scottish Government, Police Scotland, and the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service, as well as numerous high-profile private sector clients. Notably, she has overseen the planning of the CyberScotland Summit for two consecutive years.
